Lindsay Hammond

Lindsay Hammond is an assistant professor of Sport Management Studies at California University of Pennsylvania. Prior to earning her doctorate in Coaching and Teaching Studies from West Virginia University in 2015, she spent seven years working in event management and high performance with USA Shooting, the National Governing Body of Olympic and Paralympic Shooting Sports. Her research interests primarily focus on social justice issues in sport. She is currently involved in a study investigating the role of mentorship on the career trajectory of women working in professional sport, and recently co-authored a manuscript exploring the facilitators and barriers to sport and physical activity programs for individuals with disabilities in West Virginia.
